"In the morning, results of agri-environment evaluations from four countries - Estonia, Italy, UK and Germany - will be presented. Participants can join discussions on the common factors behind the success of agri-environment and the options for improving environmental land management post 2013. In the afternoon we will introduce recent modelling work on estimating the scale of budget need to deliver environmental land management from three countries - Netherlands, Germany and the UK. We anticipate that these case studies stimulate a lively discussion on the scale of environmental and biodiversity needs that could be delivered by the CAP. It is our intention that this seminar makes a contribution to the debate on a future CAP. Space is limited and we anticipate popular demand.
